Sri Vinayaka Chaturthi celebrated in gaiety

Andhra Association, Jaipur embarked on its activities in various forms by invoking the blessings of Lord Sri Ganesh on the auspicious day of Bhadrapada Chaturthi, the 17th day of September ‘2015 at Udai Apartments, Brighu Marg, Bani Park with all gaiety and splendour. Members of telugu fraternity from Pink City and other parts of Rajasthan, Residents of Udai Apartments and people from nearby localities congregated with enthusiasm and devotion to witness the celebrations on three days from 17th  to 19th September and take part in the proceedings with religious fervour. First day proceedings started with Sri Vinayaka Awahanam, Kalasa Sthapana and Sri Vigneswara Murti Sthapana followed by Archana, Sri Vinayaka Vrat Katha and Mangala Aaratis performed by Brahmasri Kambhampati Samba Muthy.  Piety and serenity enveloped the atmosphere with the chanting of reverberating mantra and shlokas. Second and Third day activities comprising Nitya Puja, Archana were performed by Sri. Akella Ramakrishna Rao who had readily come forward despite his pressing engagements officially. Evening Programs on three days included recital of Sri Vishnu Sahasra Nama, Sri Lalitha Sahasra Nama by devotees. On 20th September ‘2015, the day of immersion of idol, special pujas were performed by   Children and Students under the auspices of Sri. A. Ramakrishna Rao. After the Puja & Prasad distribution and community lunch, the Idol was taken out in procession to Maota lake near Amer Fort, with devotees heaping praise on the Lord enroute, beseeching His return the next year and seeking His blessings. The idol was immersed in the serene waters of the lake bidding farewell to the Lord while thanking Him for being benign to all of us throughout.  Feeding of Poor and deprived, living in nearby slum, has been undertaken as a part of conclusion of events.

The success of the event would not have been possible but for the yeomen services rendered by Sri. Rama Raju, Sri. Subba Raju, Sri. P. Sateesh, Sri. PNVS Prasad, Sri. T Chandra Mouli, Sri. A . Ramakrishna Rao, Sri. Vinay and various sponsors and well-wishers who had supported the smooth conduct of the event. Andhra Association, Jaipur acknowledges with gratitude the support extended by one all.
