Dear Members

At the outset I wish you and all your family members a very happy and prosperous New Year 2017.  Let this year fulfil all your dreams and wishes. The present  committee as a good gesture has taken an initiative to meet the earst-while members and senior people who had earlier contributed to the association on various occasions and visited some of them on 1st January, 2017.  They conveyed their best wishes to all the new committee members.

The new committee of our association is periodically meeting and striving its best to continue the activities of the association and to have maximum involvement of all the existing members and also the new people who have migrated from other parts of the India.  In its endeavour to involve the Telugu Fraternity, the association has conducted a programme ‘Sankranti Sambaralu’on 22.01.2017 which was attended by most of our member families.  This event as a start of the year has got good response and assured our committee to have more programmes for the involvement of more Telugu Speaking Members.

Further it has been decided by the members that all the Charitable and other activities shall be taken up by Association to continue its existence as a Charitable Organization  and all religious activities be taken up by Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple Trust Jaipur which has its existence by separate Registration.  Accordingly, recently on the eve of Mahashivaratri  on 24.02.2017 we have conducted Rudrabhishekam  pooja and the same was also attended by many families.  We aspire that with more activities, people will certainly come forward and make all the programmes a grand success.

Now you all are aware that Telugu New Year  i.e., Ugadi is fast approaching and the same would be celebrated on 29.03.2017.  As usual this year also we are going to celebrate this programme on the same day.  It has been decided by the committee that  this programme would be conducted at ‘Rotary Club’  situated at Church Road, Ner Om Towers, M.I. Road, Jaipur and the timing and other details is as under :

Timing  :  From 6.00pm to 9.30 pm

The detailed Programme is –

From 6.00pm to 6.30 pm   :  Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam

From 6.30pm to 7.00 pm   :  Panchanga Shrawanam

From 7.00 to 9.30 pm       :  Invitation to Guests &  Cultural Programmes followed by Dinner.

We are planning to include in the cultural programme our traditional Bharata Natyam or Kuchipudi dance event and also Light Music by Orchestra of eminent artists.  Certainly all the programmes would be conducted in a grand manner and we seek all the members cooperation and attendance to make this programme a memorable one.

Further  to bring to the notice of all the members that as usual we are going to publish Telugu Vani a yearly Magazine on the occasion of Ugadi.  This year the magazine would be conceived in a different design and more informative.  All the members are requested to contribute to this magazine with Articles and other information.  Further all are requested to help generously in obtaining Advertisements for the Magazine  from your available  resources so as to meet the costs involved.  Your whole hearted contribution on this occasion would be a great help to the Association.

At this juncture, on behalf of Association Committee Members, I request all the Telugu Fraternity to actively involve in the association activities and to contribute to the common cause by extending your full support by participation and otherwise.

Thanking you all….

Our Association takes pride in recognizing and encouraging the children who blossom into the future citizens of emerging India. In our endeavour to encourage education at pre-primary levels that lays the foundation for academics of any child, we have chosen “New Bright Ways School” in Kanti Nagar area as a target segment and visited the school on 04.09.2015. Our contingent, comprising Sri. K V Rajeshwara Rao, Sri. B Ganesh Rao, Sri. S V Subba Raju and Sri. Janardhan were received by the Principal, Smt. Prem Lata Choudhury and were introduced to the students who were eagerly waiting in the serene environs with  sparkles in eyes that radiated  enthusiasm . Addressing the tiny tots, our Office bearers impressed upon the importance of Education and literacy in one’s life to steer clear the path with better living standards and also become benefactors to the Society at large. Our Members distributed Study –Aids to all the students who are all smiles for the surprises presented by our Association. We place on record our gratitude to the Management and Teaching staff of the School for having readily agreed to accommodate our request and facilitating the activity. The event was concluded with warm greeting to all the Teachers on the eve of “Teachers ‘day “falling on the next day i.e on 5th Sept.
